Hi Allan,

I’m glad that you like the site. Yes it is definitely possible to do sites like this in WordPress.

Alot of what you see is knowing how to modify and create CSS to customize the overall look and feel of the site. If you want to learn the best thing to do is just jump right in and start learning everything you can. The best way to learn is to experiment yourself. I also put a couple of links to some resources below that should give you a good starting point as well.

The Cutline site itself http://cutline.tubetorial.com has great information on just about everything. Also here is a link to great book on CSS http://www.cssmastery.com .

I’m glad to have come across your website. At first I was eager to know – from where did you get your current WordPress Theme? Scrolled all the way to the link at the bottom – You’re the designer who customized CUTLINE?

http://www.larryslovinspoonful.com/ is the first ever WordPress powered website I’ve been to, that is more like a WEBSITE (Not a blog with regular posting).

Is this realy possible with WordPress? How is it done? Can you refer me links to some tutorials wherein I can get more information? This is really amazing.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Really you can do just about anything you want with Cutline to create a great site. After sitting down, I had all of the graphics, CSS, and other code modifications pretty much done in about 3 hours one afternoon.

Once you get a good feel for it you can create some nice looking stuff in a short amount of time.

Great job on that theme, Clarke! I just popped across and had a look. It feels really slick.

I’m astonished at what can be done with Cutline if people just take the time.
