Reign Over Me - The Best Movie I’ve Seen in a Long Time

On Friday I went and saw Reign Over Me   and it was hands down one of the best movies that I’ve seen in a very long time.  I have to admit that I was a little surprised last weekend, when it only grossed 8.3 million in its opening weekend.  Overall I guess that does not suprise me though, because I guess its just not cool to go see an original inspiring movie anymore.

Adam Sandler was brilliant in his role as Charlie Fineman and he really showed just how capable he is in playing a serious role in this movie.  Don Cheadle also put on an amazing performance as Alan Johnson, Sandler’s old roommate from college.  Personally I thought the chemistry between Sandler and Cheadle was outstanding and it was great to watch the story unfold between the two.  This film was a brilliant original story, offering some great comedy along the way, fantastic acting, and a great selection of music that really brought all aspects of the film together.  If you get chance I highly recommend seeing this film.
