Nice Resource for Contacting Companies Over the Phone

So how many of you get sick of not being able to talk to an actual person when you call your favorite company over the phone?  One of my biggest pet peeves is when I go to call a company about a product or service and I have to listen to stupid automated menus  and go through numerous unnecessary steps in order to accomplish a task or actually get to talk to someone.  Oh and lets not forget my favorite part about calling.  Its when after sitting on the phone for several minutes waiting or navigating their impossible menus you’re then just disconnected for no apparent reason.

Well I came across this site the other day and I wanted to share it with you.  The Get Human 500 database provides instructions on how to actually talk to a human at some of our favorite companies when you call.  Anyways hopefully you’ll enjoy this and maybe it will save you some time the next time you have to make a call!

This could be a lifesaver! I’m considering changing ISP’s over this very issue.

I’ve been having a problem losing my connection. When I called the ISP, I had to go thru all those stupid menu’s, only to finally talk to some “tech support person” who could barely speak English. Not only that, she sounded as though she were reading the responses to everything I said. I’ve never been so frustrated and ticked off in my life………..and the problem still isn’t solved after 1.5 hours on the phone and a technician coming out.

Hopefully this is something that’ll help you out. There is nothing worse then trying to speak to someone that cannot speak english and most of the time they don’t offer very much help anyway.
