Ok, so there is not a whole lot of value in this post, but I wrote it out of frustration. I’m currently battling a problem with Firefox where whenever I try to run a Java application within Firefox it constantly freezes and I get nowhere.
I’ve tried just about everything I can think of at this point including removing and reinstalling Firefox, Java, and all of the plugins that I had installed as well with no luck at all. It’s starting to get really frustrating at this point. If anyone else has ever experienced this issue drop me a comment here and let me know how you were able to fix it or any tips you may have.

I haven’t run into that…….wish I could help you out…
Yeah, its very strange and I still haven’t figured it out. Oh well I’ll spend some more time with it over the next few days and I’m sure that something will come out of that.
Go to Java in your control panel and update the same. Ver 2 of Java 6 was released recently.
Once you update Java, go to the control panel and open Java again. Jump to the Advanced tab in the Java control panel. Expand “Default Java for browsers” and select Mozilla family as well.
This resolved my problem. Let me know if this helps.
Prasun,
Thanks for the tip on that. I’ll give it a try and see how it works out for me.
