Ever since I was a kid Ken Griffey Jr. has been my all time favorite baseball player.  He has always been absolutely amazing to watch play the game.  Today he hit his 600th home run and I’m really happy because it couldn’t of happened to a more deserving guy.  Throughout his entire career he has been the complete package offensively and defensively and best of all he just had a hell of a lot of fun playing the game of baseball.

Had he not had so many injuries over the last few years, he was projected to hit over 800 home runs and I’m pretty confident that it would’ve happened.  In my opinion he’s got one of the greatest swings in the history of baseball and is arguably one of the greatest players to ever play the game.  He’s still got a good amount of time play and I look forward to him reaching more historic milestones before retirement.
