I was actually born in a small town in Kansas called Kingman on August 31, 1980. Kingman was the typical small town and if you have never experienced small town life, it does have some great aspects to it. Unfortunately in my opinion all of the negative aspects overshadowed the positive ones. Needless to say I have no desire to go back to the small town life anytime soon and I can guarantee you I will never live there again and I couldn’t be happier about that. Even though I feel Kingman had a lot of negative aspects about it, it was good for me to grow up there. It helped me figure out all of the things I knew that I never wanted to be in life. I will probably write a post on the overall way of life in a small town sometime in the future.
Where I am now
Currently I am married and living in the Kansas City area with my beautiful wife Amber, and my dog Ernie. 
Life is great right now, Amber and I have been married for 2 1/2 years and I really enjoy Kansas City. Currently I work in IT for a hotel management company in the area and I really enjoy what I do. I must say it is really refreshing to wake up everyday and enjoy going to your job and I couldn’t imagine doing something that I hated everyday.
My wife recently graduated with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and I could not be more proud of her. She has put in huge amount of work and effort into grad school these past few years. I have a great amount of respect for her determination and drive, she deserves everything she will get out of it. She also just passed her state board license exams and she is now a full time practicing physical therapist here in Kansas City.
What to Expect from ClarkeW.com
Some of you may wander where I got the name for this blog. Well I chose it because back in high school alot of my friends used to call me ClarkeW referring to Clark W. Griswald in the National Lampoon Vacations movies. Since I work in IT I will probably write alot about technology, however over the last couple of years I have really started getting into web development and SEO so I will probably offer my thoughts on those topics as well. In addition to that I love listening to music, watching Nascar, and so much more so I should have other things to talk about as well aside from just technology and the internet.
